A Study of LOXO-260 in Cancer Patients With a Change in a Particular Gene (RET) That Has Not Responded to Treatment

The main purpose of this study is to learn more about the safety, side effects, and effectiveness of LOXO-260. LOXO-260 may be used to treat cancer that has a change in a particular gene (known as the RET gene).

Key Requirements

Clinical trials have inclusion and exclusion requirements to determine which individuals qualify for participation. Listed below are key requirements for this clinical trial, but there may be additional requirements to qualify.

Participants Must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age. Patients 12 years and older may be allowed trial participation in the second phase of the trial in countries and study sites where approved

  • Have cancer with a change in the RET gene that is advanced and/or has spread to another part(s) of the body

  • Have already taken a type of drug called a RET inhibitor

  • Be well enough to perform their own personal care

  • Have stopped all cancer treatment and have received from the major side effects

  • Have adequate organ function and blood counts, as measured by blood tests

Participants Must Not:

  • Qualify for other cancer treatment proven to cure their disease

  • Have an active infection or any serious medical conditions (other than cancer)

  • Have cancer that has spread to the brain and is causing symptoms

  • Take certain medicines that affect how fast the study drug is broken down in the body
